@tuxmain Ah yes. The real flex of web design is how much one can afford to be annoying.
I redesigned my index page.
Which looks better?

No JavaScript. No cookies. scutiās cool web world of programming and gaming. Read about FOSS projects and the conventions I go to.

@scuti Add some cool but useless background animations that eat the CPU, neon gradients, replace words with emojis, replace any useful feature with a counterintuitive menu, add cookie banners, newsletter popups, AI slop articles, AI illustrations... then your website will please HRs!
I redesigned my index page.
it looks even simpler.

@scuti Yeah, and?
@Zergling_man I don't think HR people are going to have lynx installed.
@scuti Yeah, and?
@Zergling_man this is the phone view.
@scuti Install lynx
this looks fine to me.
maybe it isn't.

I just enjoy the web the most when I'm not bothered by popups
which is when I have javascript disabled.
randomly wandered to some company website (that I didn't apply for, just looking).
photos of custom decorations in the office space signaled status.
("we have a lot of money.")
I look at my website, which I made to load fast and get my point across.
doesn't give the same vibe like javascript animated pages (no js at all).
got the idea HR may have thought I wasn't in the same "league" for the cases I did apply.
had the strangest thought of being too poor to have a good job.
was thinking of how to improve my income again.
